Flying Squirrels
Flying Squirrels are not able to fly like birds, but they are able to cover over 150ft in a single glide. They are a protected species in several areas of Western North Carolina and need to only be removed by a trained professional that can distinguish between the subspecies of flying squirrels. They can come through a very small opening and are often found in attics, wall and ceiling voids, and other areas of a building. They often nest in larger groups than gray squirrels since they rely on each other for warmth. Flying squirrels can be problematic because they often cause urine stains, chewed wires, damaged insulation and various other damages from their gnawing. Flying squirrels can also carry illnesses such as Typus, Rabies, Salmonella, and Leptospirosis. We have multiple ways to safely trap and remove flying squirrels from your home or business. Our technicians are also able to locate all entry points, repair damages, and clean the effected areas.

Gray Squirrels
Gray Squirrels are common in western North Carolina. They typically have two breeding seasons, one in December-February and another in May-June. Gray Squirrels are in the rodent family and must chew to maintain their teeth. This can be troublesome when they build a nest inside your home or business because they will chew water lines, electrical lines, wood surfaces and even lead pipes. Our technicians are trained to assess for damages, humanely trap the squirrels, and repair damaged areas.
